Community Impact
The New Albany Women's Network is built on a foundation of volunteerism and philanthropy. We take pride in our collective efforts, having raised over $1,000,000 for various local non-profit organizations through our combined time, skills, and fundraising efforts.
Volunteer
We invite members to volunteer for local non-profits on a regular basis; often as a family. Many volunteer opportunities can also be conducted remotely. Interested in receiving volunteer information? Email us at volunteer@nawn.org
Outreach
Our neighborhood outreach team coordinates meals and other services for community members going through any life event that may require some help from friends, such as the addition of a new child, a move, or an illness or death. Between 50-100 meals are provided on an annual basis. If you or someone you know could use some help, please contact outreach@nawn.org
Fundraising
Since 2000, NAWN has raised over $1,000,000 for the beneficiaries of our charitable events. We are proud to have supported 28 different beneficiaries, as well as having increased the level of our Endowment fund.

Beneficiary Grants
Are you a local non-profit in need of support? Apply for our Beneficiary grant program. Your cause could be next to benefit from our community’s generosity.
NAWN has raised over $1 million since 2000, supporting 28 local charities. Our Annual Charity Fashion Show in November raises $10,000-20,000 annually. We aim to match the funds requested by our beneficiaries. Extra funds go to the NAWN Endowment Fund, supporting local causes and nonprofits that align with our mission of strengthening the community.
Beneficiaries are selected annually in March by a committee of NAWN members. After a thorough review and interview process, the committee recommends beneficiaries to the NAWN Board. Funds are distributed about two months post-event.
The beneficiary application period for 2024 has closed. Please check back in January 2025.
Scholarships
Each year NAWN awards two $2,500 scholarships to graduating New Albany High School seniors who demonstrate strong commitment to community service, excellent spirit of leadership and cooperation, exemplary school citizenship and are in good academic standing. NAWN is able to fund these scholarships through our Endowment Fund. For more information, click here.
