Fashion Show
Our 11th Annual Fashion Show was a huge success. Together we raised more than $17,800 for the My Best Self program from Directions for Youth and Families!
Because the beneficiary asked for $12,000 and NAWN made well over that, we have a surplus of funds to give them. This week the Board unanimously approved a motion to have the remainder of the money go the beneficiary's "Short Stop Arts" program to buy instruments for their summer music program.
NAWN is proud to announce that this is the largest amount of funds raised at any NAWN fashion show to date! In addition to record-breaking funds raised, NAWN had its biggest audience yet for a Fashion Show with more
than 180 tickets sold. This year's show featured more than a dozen venders. We hope all of you had the opportunity to shop all the venders tables this year's first ever Marketplace portion of the show. There were also five premier raffle packages donated by Tiffany and Co. as well as nearly 100 silent auction baskets. Guest had plenty of fashion-related options to chose from. Ladies shopped, while supporting a worthwhile cause.
