Sarah Ryan-President: Sarah called the meeting to order. There were not enough members present to vote at the Board Meeting. The following items will be voted on in the future:
1. Approving the March minutes.
2. Approving to place NAWN on the Chamber of Commerce’s New Albany Map, which is run every three years for a cost starting at $79 not to exceed $100.
3. Donating $250 to the Four Aces Fundraiser.

The e-news blurbs are now due, and Gina will be at the board meeting next month to give directions on how to update your own section on the website.
Job descriptions for each chaired positions are due to Sarah by April 16, 2008.
Treasurer-Christy Arenschield: Reported balances as follows:
Checking: $10,875.59; Savings: $22607.98
Nicol Remeis-Social Committee: On April 25, we will host an art class and luncheon at the New Albany Library from 11-1 for a cost of $10. Renon Hulet will be teaching the class.

Fashion Show-Marsha Nash and Laura Scholten reported by Marsha Nash: Everything was a success at the Fashion Show, and we raised $16, 500. The check will be presented at the next board meeting.
ENA-Mary Ellen Hoffman reported by Sarah Ryan: Our contract is completed for the event with a $500 deposit. We need to fill volunteer positions for In Kind donations for Food, Decorations, Collection of Silent Auction Items, and Sponsorship.
Membership-Vicki Damiani: Directories have been mailed to members.
SWANS-Lorrie Durik: On April 15, SWANS have an outing at the Conservatory with lunch in Bexley and on May 14, they have a 10:00 walking tour of German Village and lunch at Lindys.
Book Groups-Alexandria Klodell: Book groups had an open house at Starbucks on April 7 and now have 17 new members.
Volunteer Coordinator-Katherine Ault-Kinkead: We will need volunteers for May 24th for Madison ’s Foundation at the NA Aquatic Center.
Business Connections-Susan Fortner: The last meeting attendance was 15 at Tail Feathers. They will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Ultimate U.
Communications- Martha Chaddock: Gina will be at the meeting next month to show everyone how to update their section on the website. Also, look at the chamber calendar at newalbanychamber.com.
Public Relations – Tonya Petrucci: A press release on the Fashion Show and Socials.
Beneficiary Research-Molly Cooper: Applications are on the website and deadline is May 1, 2008.
